the 2024 season.
Every new season has new faces and new heights for my artistry. I can’t say that any one season is better than the other, but I will say, I had some absolute stunners to paint in 2024!
the pictures.
For being a young millennial, it is embarrassing how non-tech savvy I am. This extends to taking pictures and using my iPhone the way that these upgrades were meant to be used. I try to take a million photos of my work, but very few make it to the big screen. Why is that?
It is because I am truly unruly with a camera. I somehow manage to catch all the awkward angles, in all the wrong lighting with all the chaotic backgrounds. Hey - I’m a makeup artist, not a photographer.
That being said, the ladies below me are an absolute godsend for my 2024 bridal season! They have somehow managed to salvage any semblance of portfolio I’ve curated from last years work.
the memories.
I was taken to broader areas last year for makeup and I didn’t mind it one bit! From Ottawa to Kingston, the Muskoka’s and in between, this artist made a her mark! Where I can expense a hotel and do some sight seeing, I will.
This bride made a trip to Prince Edward County worth the three hour drive. A beautiful bride, amazing venue and some nearby wineries made for one of my favourite memories in 2024.
